Wastewater Treatment

Wastewater treatment is a process to convert wastewater – which is water no longer needed or suitable for its most recent use – into an effluent that can be either returned to the water cycle with minimal environmental issues or reused. Treatment means removing impurities from water being treated; and some methods of treatment are applicable to both water and wastewater. The physical infrastructure used for wastewater treatment is called a “wastewater treatment plant” (WWTP).

Our role in the water ecosystem
After water has served its many uses, it needs to be cleaned, treated and returned to the environment. Wastewater can be difficult to transport and manage with large amounts of organic solids, rags and other waste matter that challenge wastewater pumping systems. This is where Western Energy can help.

Comprehensive, customized pump solutions
Applying a suite of wastewater treatment technologies ranging from membrane separation to biological treatment, Western Energy, together with our Korean partners, have the expertise to integrate these technologies into a seamless system, managing and customising the processes to effectively treat wastewater of different profiles. With the technical expertise and operational scale in treating multiple streams of complex industrial wastewater, we can treat all types of wastewater directly from source, without the need for any pre-treatment on the part of our customers.

Waste Water Pump

Benefits:  Ideally  suitable for viscous liquids. Self-priming, this type of pump with single, two or three pairs of screws is suitable for transferring fluids with low, medium, high and very high viscosity, up to 35000 cST and flowrate up to 3000 m3/hr. High Suction Lift Capabilities (7 to 8,5 m). Well suited for liquids sensitive to shear forces and turbulences thanks to the low internal velocities given by the screw movements.
