Centrifugal Pumps

  • Horizontal Pumps

The centrifugal pump is the most commonly pump type in the world. Western Energy’s range of centrifugal pumps are available in horizontal and vertical configurations, single stage or multi-stages, overhung and between bearing arrangements, as well as single suction and double suction types. The pumps can transfer fluids with high efficiency over a wide range of flows and pressures and complies with ISO, ANSI and API 610 standards

  • Vertical Pumps

Western Energy supplies vertical centrifugal pumps – vertical sump pump and vertical submersible pump. Western Energy is able to design and deliver bespoke, fully integrated pump packages. Every pump is individually matched to our clients’ specific application and operation environment. Furthermore, testing of pumps are rigorous and can be witnessed by customers and third party inspectors.

  • Magnetic Sealless Pumps

A sealless pump is essentially a conventional centrifugal pump without packed glands or mechanical seals. The dynamic seal that would normally be used to seal the impeller shaft is instead replaced by a static containment shell -- or shroud -- to form a completely sealed liquid end or pressure boundary. A sealless pump is best applied when leakage cannot be tolerated; these pumps present absolutely no risk of emissions or leaks, which can harm productivity, employees and the environment.

  • Vertical Turbine Pumps

Custom engineered Line shaft series, Single or Multi-Stage Vertical Turbine Pumps ideal for fresh water or sea water, for cooling purposes, fire protection duties, washdown or drill water, crude oil handling. Designed for durability, driven by surface mounted electric or diesel drivers they can be supplied up to 100 metres in overall length. Vertical Turbine Pumps are available with various drive configurations and options such as flexible/stiff shaft, special suction impellers, cast or fabricated column pipes, for API 610 and non-API construction, below deck discharge for jetty or platform, marine and fouling systems.
