Joint EPCs, Punj Lloyd and Foster Wheeler, had awarded Western Energy a contract to supply 2 Sets of Firewater Pump Packages complete with 2 Acoustic Enclosures for noise reduction purposes in the Shell Marina Project. This lube oil blending plant (LOBP) is where base oil is blended with additives to make finished lubricants.
With a supplied pump capacity of 2500GPM and pump head of 110 m, coupled to a CFPIIE-F20 Cummins Engine, Western Energy had also designed and fabricated acoustic enclosures locally in Singapore. With this new LOBP, it will drive Shell’s capacity to support the expected demand growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
