Western Energy was awarded a contract to supply 2 sets of containerised electric-motor, hydraulic driven firewater pump packages for installation on a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel within Cepu Block, off the waters of Indonesia.
The FSO tanker conversion carried out by Sembawang Shipyard will have 2 electric-motor, hydraulic driven firewater pump packages from containing screw pumps, centrifugal pumps, electric motors, NFPA Control panels, hydraulic power units, hydraulic power unit tanks, hydraulic pumps and motors as well as all associated auxiliaries.
The pump packages are certified by ABS, BKI & MIGAS and are able to operate continuously for 18 hours independently from the platform.
