Scope of Supply: Pump Overhaul Service
On board the ’Glas Dowr’ FPSO that Bluewater designed, built, owned and operated, there is a Crude Oil Injection Pump that has been in operation since 2002.
This FPSO has been producing at the Kitan Field off northwest Australia for client oil company ENI JPD and in 2011, the FPSO had docked in Singapore for a complete overhaul. Western Energy was contracted to extract the 5 tons pumps from the FPSO and haveit overhauled completely.
Some of the overhaul works included repairing the crankcase internal damages, removal of score marks on the pump internals and polishing the internal for smoothness.
